Greetings all, this is just some personal work that I worked on today. I've always been inspired by vintage illustrations of Jolly ol' St. Nick, especially those of J.C. Leyendecker. This is my interpretation of a classical Santa Claus. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday filled with lots of laughter and quality time with the ones you love <3

I really like this interpretation. He has a wise, peaceful face, and I really like the bird.....
ReplyDeleteYeah I wanted him to stray a little bit from the fat and jolly version that is normally associated with Santa Claus, and go for more of an almost wizard inspired character. Thank you for the kind words :)
