Football Toss

Here's an illustration I did for TentandTable.com which will be displayed on a carnival style game for kids. It will basically be a football toss game where you have to throw a football through a square hole which will be cut out in between the players hands once the game is produced. Hope the kiddies have fun with this one :)

Number Book

Haii'P! So I just wanted to fill you guys in on the current workings progressing inside my home "studio", located in the shinin' fields of Pendleton NY. The gears are starting to get moving on this second children's book for client Carousel Pediatrics and I'm pleased with how it's turning out so far. Being that it's the second in the educational series, I'm starting to find a little niche or path I guess you could say. A much clearer idea of how I want the series to develop stylistically. This current book will be a basic counting book with the theme of Zoo animals which is right down my alley. I've always had a great love of animals so theres enjoyment in the creative process leading the development of the artwork. Also, my sincere gratitude goes out to my good friend Rachel Wood, who it's a pleasure to also have as my Art Director. She's been great to work with and awesome concerning her allowing me the privilege of artistic freedom. I don't want to spoil the completed book so these are just a couple teaser sketches folks, hope you enjoy and keep posted to check out the final work :)

Peace

-Tim

Bounce Houses

What's up boys and girls? First off, let me start by wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, and let anyone know who's working black friday like me that I feel your pain. But onto the news..

Back in mid October I landed a new freelance job with a local company in Buffalo called TentandTable.com who work alongside with another company called ABC Rental. These guys deal with everything for big parties, birthdays, weddings, bar mitzvahs, you know. But what I've been hired for is to recreate some very much dated artwork that you see on the side of kids Bounce Houses. So the first one is for a Princess theme and others with be Racecars, Mission to Mars, Jungle, etc. This is the only one I've finished so far, so I hope you guys enjoy. I'll post some pics of the artwork on the actually inflatable once it all comes together. Until then, happy holidays everyone

Color Book

Hey guys. It's been quite a dandy long time since I've posted anything new on my blag. Been really busy lately with workin at Banana Republic (joyy....) and REAL job searching. But the good news is I've finished my first real children's book for Carousel Pediatrics in Austin, TX. The first of many I might add. It feels really great to start getting my feet wet in the Children's Book industry. This is what I am going to persue, I believe it's what I was meant for. I haven't gotten a hard copy of the book yet but when I do I'll post a few photos to show what it actually looks like. In the mean time here are some images from the book, I hope you enjoy :)

Graduation

This past weekend was my graduation ceremony from the Savannah College of Art and Design. It was a longg trip down, 16 hours from Buffalo to Savannah, but the time spent in town was a blast. Hanging out with all my friends from college was great and I can't wait to see where we all end up in life. It was also great to have my mom, cousin Jessica and my grandparents there as well :)

Hey guys, so I finally got my first website up and running. I designed it a little less than a year ago when I was still in school, so it's been a long time coming. Feel free to look around over at tdumpleton.com :)

Stylin'

So this is what I've been working on for Carousel Pediatrics. The bottom one is my first attempt at an example for a style for the childrens books I will be working on. They liked the image a lot but are looking for more of my style to show through. This is too exact to the characters they already have developed. So the top image is showing more rendering and will prob even incorporate some hatch work which is also a representation of my style. The final image will also be a little tighter than this example. I am anxious to get started on the books and grateful to be working on such a project :) Stayed tuned...

Just some things

Just some recent sketches/diddlys i've done. The first few are for a Childrens book project my cousin had to do for her grad class, so she asked me to help her with the illustrations :) The Doctor one is just a character study for a set of Childrens Books my good friend Rachel asked me to illustrate for Carousel Pediatrics in Austin, TX. Stick around kids...

CUBE

So about 3 weeks ago my 97 cavalier took a big dump (no pun intended) on itself. In short, the whole exhaust system had to be replaced which is around 600 bones to fix. The car wasnt even worth that much so I had no choice to sell it. For the following couple weeks I was on a mad car search, and starting to become quite frustrated. Then I decided to look into leasing. So I went to a local Nissan dealer to check out lease deals that were going on and they had a promotion for their 09' sentras and cubes. Going in there I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would fall in love with such a weird lookin vehicle. But much to my surprise I did. I couldnt be any happier with my decision cuz boy is this baby sweet! It's got the luxury of an astro van and the convenience of smart car. I give you.....the DumpleCube.
